Wow #enterpriseweek17, what a week! An initiative rolled out across the country by Local Enterprise Offices, gave entrepreneurs of all ages will the opportunity to participate in workshops, seminars, advice clinics and one-to-one mentoring on every aspect of business, including: starting a business, trading on-line, finance, tendering, growing a business through digital marketing, cyber security, intellectual property, and being Brexit-ready.
Cork hosted over 50 events, from Female Entrepreneurship, Digital Marketing, to Foodie events. We were really spoiled for choice. My personal favourite event was a Craft Event in Inchydoney featuring jewellery designer Chupi and Dermott Rowan, Managing Director of the Orla Kiely brand. As well as extremely informative, it was an excellent networking event. The room was packed with fellow West Cork Creatives and guest speakers, including Joan from Waters & Wild, A Irish organic perfumery thats create a gorgeous certified organic range of scents that are inspired by the pristine nature and beauty of West Cork location. If you have not checked them out, I suggest you do. You will not be disappointed and another plus, all their ingredients have been ethically and sustainably sourced from around the globe and in West Cork, Ireland.
Each event was Motivating, Inspiring, Fun, Magical (yes Enterprise events can be magical) and the energy when a group of creatives get together is like no other. The passion they have for what they do is infectious. The drive and motivation that fuels their businesses fills the room, and the willingness to share any pearl of wisdom that will help you and your dream is what makes these people so amazing! Thank you LEOs for organising this week, and thank you @chupi for all your pearls of business wisdom.
